Art Together: Collage
Art Together: Collage
Tuesday, April 22nd 10-11 am
For children ages 1-5 and their adult
Instructor: Leah
In this class, we will be ripping, cutting, gluing and placing paper and other small flat objects together to create collages on paper.
We welcome any caregiver—parents, grandparents, nanny—to join in this art experience with their child.
Each child participates at their own developmental level using their innate creativity and observations to openly explore art materials. This class supports every child, ages 1-5, no matter their learning style or stage of development, to give them a safe, fun place to express themselves and try new things.
Accessibility: No art experience needed for caregiver or child! Fine motor skills explored and supported in class. Most of the class can be spent seated. If you have questions about accessibility, please reach out.
We will not require participants to mask during this program. We are thoughtfully making the decision to lift the mask requirement for this offering to emphasize developmentally appropriate caregiver-child engagement and remove barriers to social connection. Our facilitator will continue to be masked and a medical grade air purifier will be running in the space. Masks will be available if you choose.
At this time, we are evaluating our community’s access needs for programs and encourage you to add your voice by completing our survey.
If you would like to request a community-funded seat to support in covering the cost of this class, please email us at curiositystudioclass@gmail.com.
