BIPOC Open Studio: May
BIPOC Open Studio: May
Thursday, May 15th, 6-8 pm
Facilitator: Calvin
Theme:Opening Portals : Orbiting Spirals
This month we will create portals. Using drawing tools and found materials, our portals will give way to tarot-like compositions, allowing us to access the deeper realm of our inner intelligence and spirit. Drawing from Ocean Vuong's On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous, we will meditate on the following passage as we seek and create within the portals of our own making: “Some people say history moves in a spiral, not the line we have come to expect. We travel through time in a circular trajectory, our distance increasing from an epicenter only to return again, one circle removed.”
