Learn how to make an improvisational quilt from scratch. This three-part workshop will explore intuitive piecing and improvisational ways of creating patterns, as well as techniques to hand sew a quilt. In this class we will reflect on what it's like to create a quilt 'as you go', and explore how to hand stitch and bind a quilt together in response to your piercing. There is no need to take the one session improvisational quilting before taking this workshop.

Please indicate if you will be bringing in your own sewing machine. A few additional machines will be available for you to use during class.

Accessibility: Newbies and familiar quilters alike are welcome! Basic machine sewing skills are strongly preferred. Duration of class can be spent seated.

Masking required during class, additional masks will be available.
