About the Facilitator:

Mia writes, “I am a multi-disciplinary artist who recently moved to the twin cities from Texas and I’ve been drawn to art and creating for as long as I can remember. As a child I would fall asleep on the floor while drawing or painting, fully immersed in my process. Not much has changed over the years, I still get lost in art making and I’m so thankful that I have this practice in my life. My greatest joy is sharing this creativity with others through teaching creative classes. From drawing and painting, to sculpting and sewing, it brings me immense joy to share my knowledge with others and help them discover their own creativity. As a chronically ill and disabled artist, accessibility within art is extremely important to me because art is for everyone.”
