Classes

How do we know when we need to take a break? It can be tricky to recognize. Body scanning is a useful way to check in with yourself and know when you need a pause. Join us to learn how to use this exercise and honor your creative self to build up your capacity for slowing down and checking in.

Situations that create stress and anxiety in our bodies can have impactful effects. Engaging our five senses helps us to focus on the present moment and decrease stress’s effects. Your body knows what feels good. Use this class to slow down, connect and allow your senses to guide you in creating a coping skills kit.

Block party: 5.28

Let’s celebrate our month of hard work and introspection with a party, eh?

This event will be held in and outside of Curiosity Studio at 3607 East Lake St. There will be local musicians, community mural making and a wellness fair. As we sit within a mental health crisis, we want to amplify the gamut of resources that exist within our community to help people find meaningful paths toward healing and wellness.

Corner of 36th and E Lake St, 2-6 PM
