Our youth deserve time and space to play and explore and make meaning. Over the past few years, we have asked our youth to constantly pivot with maturity and patience.
We want to honor this disruption to their regular lives and offer a time to get back into their bodies and make meaning of the challenges they have faced.
Above all else, let’s connect once again through the potent tool of art making. A tool that allows us to even have a little fun.
Curiosity Studio is offering monthly drop-in art explorations to support relationship building, creative problem solving, and emotional wellbeing. Youth can come to a space that evolves alongside their growth, development, and interests.
FREE for youth in grades 6-12 the second Tuesday of every month. 4-6 PM. Hosted at East Lake Library. No advanced registration necessary.
FAQ:
How many people will be in my class?
Just like our adult classes, we keep them intentionally small for primo bonding and space for creative endeavors.
What if I don’t fit the age range?
Don’t see a class for you? Hang tight! We like to move slowly and make sure we have all of our ducks in a row. The age range we choose is intentional and we appreciate you honoring that.
Who will teach my child?
All instructors working with youth programming are excited about serving youth and wonderful art instructors!
Can I hang out while my child attends camp?
Our space will be maxed out with campers, staff and support staff. Please support our learning environment by honoring the drop off and pick up times of your camper’s sessions.
