Frustrated by limited options to recycle textile waste, we have spent the year researching a community-scale model for transforming unwanted and discarded material. Like you, we feel frustrated by limited options for recycling and keeping it local. Thinking through the problem, we are identifying the skills and knowledge we have and need within our community.

The resulting ecosystem for textile waste could create new jobs, collaborations, innovative materials, and a model for local resilience that can be replicated. At least…that’s what we think! We will update this page as events, research and data are available.
